Lent Course – Stewards of Creation


Stewards of Creation is the theme of the Bishop of Connor’s Lent course this year. 

The talks begin at 7.30pm each evening.

Galilean Wedding Evening


Have you ever wondered what the wedding in Cana of Galilee was like? Here is your opportunity to find out. Jay McCarl will be coming to Portglenone Parish Centre on    Tuesday 28th March at 7.30 pm. Jay  travels all over the world teaching the Bible through Biblical Dinners & Galilean Weddings. There will be a donation of £5.00 to cover Jay’s cost and food.

Street Party for the Queen's 90th Birthday

St Colmanell's Celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday with a Street Party. Photo's are avialable on the church facebook page and the story is on the Diocesan Website click here

Time Capsule will tell story of life in Ahoghill in 2015

A time capsule will be secreted in the new roof at St Colmanell's, containing the names of Parishioners and members of the local community who supported the church roof, photographs, coins and a letter from the Rector.  Please click here to read the full story on the Diocesan website.

Ahoghill Win Gold at the Britain in Bloom Awards

Wonderful news! At the Britain in Bloom Awards ceremony in Sunderland this evening, Ahoghill have won GOLD and are also WINNERS of the Small Town Category. What a fantastic result for the community. Many congratulations to everyone in Ahoghill.

Christmas Tree Festival at St Colmanell's

Our annual Christmas Tree Festival will take place between 26th November to 1st December in aid of the NI Hospice and the Parish building fund.

150th Anniversary Dinner

We held a 150th Anniversary dinner in September to celebrate the anniversary of our St Colmanell's Church.  We had a very good turnout at the evening with a lot of laughs and a great night of fellowship for the congregation and wider community.  Please click to view our photo gallery to see some photographs of the night.
